Learn the ancient art of decorating pottery in the ‘Maiolica ‘ tradition. We run courses several times a year. This term we will be running an evening class. Each course runs two hours a day, once a week, for six weeks. There are six places in each class. Students who have completed the course are able to come into the studio from Wednesday to Saturday between the hours of 10am and 5pm to paint pieces for themselves.

Time – 6:30pm to 8:30pm

COURSE COST$250- including GST. If you choose to paint more than the 6 to 8 pieces covered in the course cost there will be additional costs.

March is the month when we will have a focus on handthrown and handpainted planters for indoor and outdoor use. Something to look forward to and a new direction for us. We have always had a limited range of planters but we will be expanding our range with new shapes, sizes and designs. I will post about new developments as they happen.

February has been a busy month painting orders for customised dinnerware in a range of designs. On top of that, every time we fire a kiln we also have new pieces coming out of the kiln to help restock our shelves after Christmas.
